FSS – Delivery Center Operations– Senior Analyst

Finance & Shared Services-Australia

Finance & Shared Services (“FSS”) team provides support to our internal service lines across disciplines such as financial reporting, Business System, Resources Management, Talent, and Information Technology. In addition, we have other sub-teams under FSS which provides client service excellence on independence and other compliance checks.

Team and Position Summary

Our Delivery Centre (DC) Operations team supports our business with offshore operations and transitioning activities to Deloitte United States – India (USI) and other offshore locations. DC Operations encompasses the processes, governance and tools used to plan, prioritize, and manage/execute projects and programs. Senior Consultant to help deliver major organizational projects efficiently. Manage administrative tasks, such as document and information distribution, report collation and communication support. Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, and experience meeting hard deadlines.

You will be responsible for driving milestone results to ensure project deliverables are achieved within acceptable time constraints. You are the type of person who will be accountable for the quality of work delivered and accept and build upon valuable feedback from mentors and direct reports to ensure your own development in both capability and career

Team description

The team is responsible for:

  • Planning, prioritization, resource allocation of approved Delivery Centre projects
  • Delivery of projects as per budget, scope, and schedule
  • Project governance
  • Executive and Board level reporting
  • General USI reporting
  • Risk and issue management

Key Accountabilities:

Internal Project Management

Planning and Delivery

·       Accurately document key decisions and outcomes

·       Provide the scope and capabilities for the project and key teams involved.

·       Report timelines and milestone achievements.

·       Ensure that all documentation is up to date and readily available for viewing.

·       You are responsible to organise valuable training and information sessions for the team when needed.

·       Sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams

·       Providing information and regular support to stakeholders

·       Being point of contact for various project teams.

·       Developing in-depth understanding of project scope and i.e., timeframes, outcomes

·       Understanding formal escalation and review processes

·       Providing support to project managers and business leaders when requested

·       Thorough project documentation

·       Creating and reviewing of reports

Managing the transition of functions to the offshore locations

·       Following the Offshoring Transition Methodology to manage the migration of functions to the offshore locations.

·       Consulting with business service lines, internal client service lines and other stakeholders as appropriate to understand their offshoring requirements.

·       Coordinate the project team (technology project manager, change manager, process manager) to ensure their respective teams deliver on the requirements.

·       Lead project team meetings

·       Develop and manage project plans.

·       Proactively identify, track, and manage issues or risks that could impact the successful transition of a function, escalating as appropriate

·       Assist with the preparation of business cases.

·       Developing presentation materials and project reporting for key stakeholders

·       Supporting the Principal as required 

Stakeholder Management

·       Ensure business (service line) requests are followed through and are responded to within agreed timeframes.

·       Create monthly dashboards and presentations and other reports for executives/key stakeholders in the business

Process Improvement

·       Participate and recommend process improvement activities, considering automations, Gen AI and ServiceNow.

  • Work closely with Business Analyst (BA) to produce business analysis plans, process maps, requirement documentation and deliverables
  • Collate relevant templates and review/streamline current processes

·       Work with key stakeholders to identify/develop process improvement initiatives.

Onboarding Governance

·       Work closely with ITS and Talent to review and action onboarding and offboarding requests.

·       Maintain onboarding inbox to answer onboarding and offboarding queries.

·       Support ITS and Talent as required.

Qualifications Required:

  • Any Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in Project Management
  • Experience in documentation and presentations
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Knowledge of Advanced MS Office and Power Bi
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
  • Excel knowledge including spreadsheets, graphs, pivot tables
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Work Location: Hyderabad

Work Timings: 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
