Analyst - ALM, USI GFS, Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Role Description:
As an Analyst, the Team member supports the Property Accounting team and is responsible for the recording and maintenance of the Firm’s capital assets. This includes the review and approval of prospective capital purchases, processing of capital asset accounts, payable invoices, handling changes to capital assets (such as disposals and transfers) and reporting on the capital assets.
Role objective:
To support ALM process for the recording and maintenance of Capital Assets in compliance with Firm’s guidelines.
Work you will do
As an Analyst in USI supporting GFS-ALM team, you will focus on following areas:
§ Approve purchase orders for asset requisitions using the Ariba Spend Management software system
§ Approve other manual CAPEX purchases
§ Process construction/project related invoices submitted via the RETS (Real Estate Tracking System)
§ Respond to inquiries regarding accounts payable invoices relating to fixed assets to Vendors/Internal Client
§ Managing and processing asset management transactions such as transfers and disposals
§ Assisting in period end tasks, including the preparation for, and run of depreciation/MIS etc.
§ Complete various asset reporting functions
§ Assist with other Property Accounting tasks as assigned
§ Good Exposure to the Complete Asset Accounting Module of SAP (FI-AA)
The Property Accounting team is responsible for the recording and maintenance of the US Firm’s / GFS capital assets. This includes a variety of related tasks, including but not limited to review and approval of prospective capital purchases; preparation, review, and resolution of various capital invoice related issues; review and handling of changes to recorded capital assets; reporting requirements re: capital assets; communications with a variety of internal & external respondents re: various inquiries & issues; etc.
The team’s competency spans several different proficiencies including:
· Knowledge of Capital Assets (Property Accounting) function
· Experience with and understanding of fixed asset processes throughout their life cycle (from acquisition to disposal)
· Skilled at working with numbers and in detailed analysis
· Strong understanding of accounting principles
· Knowledge and experience with journal entries and with GL reconciliations
· Ability to ensure a high level of overall quality and accuracy
· Ability to work well & multi-task in a fast paced, time sensitive environment

Educational Qualifications and requirements:
· B.com/M.com/MBA Finance graduate with minimum of 2 years of relevant ALM experience, preferably in a professional services firm
· Working knowledge of Excel
· Should be proactive and possess good oral and written communication skills
· Have attention to detail
· Ability to perform extensive research to reach accurate conclusions with ambiguous data scenarios
· Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
· Understanding of SAP (preferred)
Location: Hyderabad
Work timings: 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, can change according to business needs
