Finance Systems Portfolio Assistant Manager (USI)

The team

Finance Systems serves as US finance application portfolio subject matter experts, to implement and manage innovative solutions and changes through governance and change management to meet the technology needs of finance and the US firm.

The work you will do

Finance Systems is looking for an Assistant Manager to join their Engagement Operations team.  In this role, you will cover project delivery, user support and continuous improvement (enhancements).  On your typical engagement, you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on system capabilities.  You will assist in requirement gathering, help to lead testing (UAT), cutover and hyper care and provide insight to the change management team.  You will liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. 

Responsibilities include:

·       Relay the business strategy into technical requirements; communicate requirements to technical teams 

·       Assist in the execution and timeline of system changes, escalating issues and risks to Leads, as needed

·       Understand the integrations across the portfolio of systems and impacts to the business processes with these datapoints

·       Assist testing efforts for enhancements or deployments of financial system with the testing team

·       Gather test requirements, develop test scripts, and ensure tests are current and reflective of business processes

·       Support the stability, availability, and performance of finance systems by performing analysis to identify problems, trends, and opportunities for improvement

·       Timely Coordination between various teams to ensure seamless deployment of features in Production

·       Develop a deep understanding of applications within the Finance System portfolio

Qualifications and requirements:                                 

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related IT/Finance discipline; or equivalent experience  
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience or exposure in the above functional areas
  • 3+ years experience in engagement economics or account operations
  • Excellent written and conversational communication skills
  • Ability to work and achieve results — with minimal supervision — in an intense, fast-paced, virtual team environment (across multiple time zones); ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to establish rapport, trust, and confidence with key stakeholders
  • Experience in collaborating with teams in a professional services or large matrixed company
  • Experience with supportive finance applications a plus
  • Experience with SAP is a plus

Shift Timings : 11AM – 8PM
