USI Assistant Manager, USI Global COE

The team and the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization supports our business, market and enabling area leaders with world class financial and decision support. FP&A is made up of advisors who are influential in decision-making and partner with finance leaders to drive meaningful strategic and financial outcomes.

Within FP&A, the Centers of Excellence (COE) teams define and drive leading practices and provide subject matter guidance across the firm, partnering with operational FP&A teams to maximize value and insight delivered to the business. The USI Global COE provides financial support and insights in support of both USI and global shared services (such as CoRe and GFS). Specific responsibilities and qualifications for the USI Assistant Manager role are outlined below.

Work you’ll do

Core responsibilities

  • Explain, present, and analyze the financial performance of the business
  • Deliver timely financial analytics to effectively measure business performance against strategic priorities
  • Own and deliver a variety of ad hoc analyses and projects to deliver complex data requests, includes partnering closely with the Finance Business Partners including National Office and Parent organizations
  • Participate in planning and forecasting processes, and develop metrics to monitor the performance against objectives
  • Work with pricing methodologies, rate cards, costing methods and overall view of Profit & Loss (P&L) impact of decisions
  • Calculate royalties to Deloitte India for USI services and report year end distribution; Calculate reserves needed to cover USI contingencies and acquire leadership approval
  • Support FP&A leaders to successfully implement the business strategy and help business achieve its strategic objectives
  • Continuously improve FP&A’s organizational efficiency and effectiveness by participating in internal change programs

Other responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and timelines, track progress through milestones and metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and additional teams
  • Develop executive level presentations to communicate and achieve consensus for recommendations
  • Build supporting materials that assist leaders and stakeholders in the decision-making process
  • Support leaders in strategic activities and engage in stretch opportunities aligned with professional development goals and strengths

Qualifications

Required:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related subject

  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant Finance experience
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
    • Financial reporting and analysis
    • Planning and forecasting
    • Project management
    • Data analysis, management, and visualization
    • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

Preferred:

·       Advanced education degree a plus

  • Experience in a professional services firm is a plus
  • Work with senior leadership
  • Awareness of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Foundational knowledge of financial systems (SAP, Anaplan)

Location: Hyderabad

Shift timing: 2pm to 11pm
