Procurement Support Services Team – CoRe Procurement – Analyst - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

The Procurement Strategy and Operations group is seeking an Analyst for our Procurement Support Services team. Liaise with CoRe Procurement professionals and leadership as well as business professionals across the global member firm network.

 

Work you will do:

This position will be responsible for direct interaction, communication and support of internal customers and vendors as well as CoRe Procurement colleagues.  Of particular importance will be ability to develop and support key internal customers and external relationships. This group supports all CoRe member firms.

Resposibilities:

 

  • Performing initial triage on requests from business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership for Procurement support.
  • Responding to inquiries from stakeholders and CoRe Procurement resources related to existing contracts, procurement processes, self-service contract guidance
  • Performing production support, troubleshooting, issue resolution and process documentation on Procurement Operations issues.
  • Developing and participating in the implementation of new procurement processes, toolkits and templates
  • Leveraging strong follow up and organizational skills where action items are developed
  • Actively participate in User acceptance testing of new Procurement-related systems
  • Identifying existing processes that can benefit from the application of robotics and artificial intelligence
  • Collaborating with other cross-functional groups including technology and risk

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience in client facing role in an eEnabled Procurement environment.
  • Experience with eProcurement Tools like Ariba, iCertis, Coupa in a first line of support role is a must.
  • MS-Excel, PowerPoint proficiency is required and an assignment for the same will be part of the filtering process.

More specifically, EA enables the business units to solely focus on satisfying clients and developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while they consolidate and standardize a diverse collection of systems, processes, and functions. The team provides a wide array of services to the U.S and India professionals, and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.

 

Requisite core skills

  • Knowledge of (and/or experience with) procurement process in a large organization (Global procurement experience will be an added advantage)
  • Experience and proficiency in Ariba/ SAP/iCertis or any other procurement suite tools
  • Outstanding communication skills for interaction with globally based Procurement leadership, stakeholders and vendors
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with MS Excel skills at least at intermediate level
  • Working knowledge of Service Now a big plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce results with minimum direction
  • A “customer service” orientation with ability to confidently manage communication across multiple levels and geographies
  • Understanding of multi-national business cultures and the desire to increase this skill set through experiential learning
  • Ability to work independently and make recommendations ranging from revising or creating a process to identifying potential risks.

Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science
