Position Summary

Group Reporting/SAC

As a Consultant/Sr Consultant, you’ll know the business processes, understand how the application meets the business requirements and apply this knowledge to solve problems. You’ll also understand configuration dependencies and inter relationships between SAP BI and SAP BPC. You will also be expected to deliver design artifacts (e.g. functional specs, technical specs, etc.). 

Work you’ll do

  • Set up and implement high-quality solutions following industry effective practices
  • Manage and mentor teams and take ownership of their deliverables Identify and mitigate risks and confirm meeting various project metrics
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the functional and integration test cases
  • Also operate effectively as an individual contributor for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes
  • Take responsibility for meeting expectations in terms of quality and timeliness of deliverables

The Team: 

Our focus is primarily on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to align with our primary systems integration and business transformation offerings. Our primary AMS client base is a result of an integrated Design-Build-Manage model. These services span the entire continuum from upfront advisory services through application management, optimization, and innovation.

We have been supporting global clients and their complex, distributed application solutions for more than 25 years. We leverage deep specialization from our implementation practices and our technical and functional competency centers to deliver an application management services approach that is differentiated by our focus on Industry and Technology.



Required:

Note: We’re ONLY looking for functional candidates with Consolidation experience, Group Reporting experience is a plus. 

  • Minimum 3-6 years’ experience in all versions of  BPC and EPM (7.x and 10.x)
  • Working experience of implementation and application management
  • Proficient in designing, developing and delivering end to end BPC solutions
  • Extensive experience of integration of BI and BPC
  • Design and develop BPFs, work status, business rules and calculation logics using logic script and ABAP
  • Experience of owning all the modules in the BPC and exposure to forecasting, budgeting, planning and consolidation processes
  • Capability to understand the scope and get involved in the Blueprinting and Customer pursuits
  • Lead in difficult situations of the project and play the key role in solving technical and functional issues
  • Capability of making professional client connects and communicating the status and issues to the key stake holders
  • In-depth experience of effort and resource estimates
  • Experience in confirming self and the project team adheres to Service Level Agreements
  • Ability to suggest improvements/innovations delivering value to the client
  • Exposure to leading SAP support projects
  • Great Communication skills like Analytic, interpersonal and presentation.
  • Good Project Management skills and experience of managing a team of 3 or more individuals  
  • Preferred:
  • Ability to code and debug ABAP program
  • Understanding of cross functional skills like SAP FI
