Analyst – HIMS – Hybrid Infrastructure Management Services

The Hybrid Infrastructure Management Services function is accountable for system administration, Cloud Infrastructure administration, server builds, virtualized application support, user support, application support, patching, troubleshooting, break fix, FCR etc. This function is responsible for working with Internal clients across the firm and works closely with other ITS teams.

Work you’ll do

Our team in Hyderabad is seeking an Analyst, in HIMS.  As an Analyst in this team, the individual is expected to have a strong knowledge of Cloud Administration, system administration, server builds, virtualized application support, user support, application support, patching, troubleshooting, break fix, FCR, AWS/Azure IAM etc. 

The candidate will focus on daily operational activities such as ticket resolution, troubleshooting, environment monitoring, report analysis, client support calls. The candidate will also participate in implementations, upgrades, and the day-to-day operations of solutions for a variety of deployment scenarios including demo; sandbox; development and client facing production environments.

        Exploring ways of improving processes and procedure to support our clients

        Work alongside the other teams, to constantly review and where possible, improve our services

        Stakeholder engagement and management

        Support project workstream deliverables

Operational

  • Acts as a liaison between Infrastructure and Delivery Teams.
  • Represents Infrastructure and enforce Cloud Services standards with global services and/or partners.
  • Also responsible for Patching Linux/Windows servers in our in-house Datacenters, AWS and Azure platforms
  • Architecting and Provisioning Windows and Linux environments in AWS, AZURE and VMware
  • Strong understanding of Operating systems (RH Linux and Windows) and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Need to have good experience in patching Windows/Linux servers
  • Proficiency in managing application/system upgrades
  • Knowledge of load balancing technologies (F5, NLB)
  • Strong knowledge on Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Cluster environment, Certificate Management
  • System Administration experience with Windows 2008/2012/2016 and/or Linux Server environments.
  • Understanding of VPN technologies.
  • Understanding of Storage and capacity management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server
  • Good technical documentation skills.
  • Good communication, client service and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Service management, Incident, Change and Problem management processes
  • Demonstrates expertise of IT governance concepts and ITIL Standards
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
  • Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Methodical and detailed approach towards accomplishing tasks
  • Ability to work with and on teams and with minimum supervision

Work shift Timings: Rotational Shift (24x7x365) – 9PM-6AM, 5.30AM-2.30PM, 2PM-11PM

Qualifications

·       Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology

·       1-2.6 years’ experience in a similar role with an Enterprise organisation.

Certifications

  • IT Certifications: ITIL V3 Foundation
  • AWS certified Cloud Practioner for AWS Admin L2 .
  • Azure Administartor

Essential

  • Strong Administration knowledge in AWS , Azure platforms.
  • Knowledge in Patching management for Linux/Windows servers in our in house Datacenters, AWS and Azure platforms
  • Architecting and Provisioning Windows and Linux environments in AWS and VMware
  • Strong understanding of Operating systems (RH Linux and Windows) and troubleshooting methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to specify data collection and thresholds and to analyze complex results. Provides recommendations or solutions including basics linear trending. Exhibits knowledge of management reporting process and guidelines.
  • Ability to participate in the business impact assessment and risk assessment processes and help identify appropriate controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Understands and leverages infrastructure architectural principles for cross-functional purposes. Works with vendors as well as internally.
  • Demonstrates expertise of IT governance concepts. Understands and able to manage the relationships of all OIM relevant stakeholders. Understand the portfolio and the business drivers of the various components. Supports the execution of the primary goals of IT Governance.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrable evidence of effective team interactions, client relationship development, and task management
  • Be able to collaborate with clients, identify engagement, follow-on opportunities, and have a strong desire to excel.
