Work you’ll do
As an Audit Assistant, you will work within the Audit practice. You will start with understanding the client's business, risks, and internal controls. You will then assess the risk of material misstatement of the financial statements so that we design effective audit procedures. This will involve:
- developing an understanding of the Deloitte Audit Approach, methodology, and tools
- assisting in auditing client financials
- efficiently and effectively executing assigned audit work
- discussing all significant auditing issues identified during the audit with your senior
- familiarizing yourself with accounting and auditing literature
- demonstrating professionalism, ethical conduct, and competence
- maintaining a strong client focus, and developing productive working relationships within the team

The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is the statutory title of qualified accountants in the US who have passed the Uniform CPA Examination and have met additional state education and experience requirements for certification. The CPA program equips audit professionals with the preferred credentials in the industry. This qualification opens up opportunities beyond the senior and above levels for the professionals. Professionals with this accreditation are better placed to get aligned with global opportunities on projects.
Deloitte supports professionals by sponsoring the CPA course materials from reputed vendors while reimbursing the cost incurred towards credit evaluation and examination fees, VISA expenses, airfare, accommodation, and transport expenses incurred during the period of appearing for the examinations*.

Qualifications
Required
- B. Com/M. Com
- 60% in 10th, 12th and graduation / post-graduation
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
- Additional degree in accountancy
