Analyst – Government and Public Services Enabling Areas Team (GPS EA)

The GPS Enabling Areas (GPS EA) Practice is a client-driven organization, partnering as trusted business advisors to champion operational excellence, lead building functions to support various facets of project life cycle and other key functions within Enabling Areas like Contracts, Pricing, General Ledger, Project Financials, Project Setup, Compliance and Business systems. 

GPS EA Analysts assist with regular tasks in Shared services group. We continue to grow our team in response to unprecedented demand for our services across Deloitte. 

The GPS Enabling Areas practice is part of Deloitte Services LP, which ultimately provides services to Government and public Services in the USA.

Work you’ll do –

As an Analyst, USI GPS EA, you will assist engagement leadership in managing various GPS Enabling Area functions like Contracts, Pricing, General Ledger, Project Financials, Project Setup, Compliance and Business systems.  

        As a new joiner to the GPS Enabling areas, an Analyst will start her/his career in the Shared services team of GPS USI team initially caters to all regular tasks within GPS enabling areas. They will also cater to support and will learn various aspects of project life cycle and other areas like.. Contracts, Pricing, General ledgers, Project financials, Project Setup, Compliance and Business systems.

        This team will eventually grow to work in one of the core support functions of GPS USI Enabling areas over a period of time.

        Since there are wide range if support functions, you will be able to team and collaborate with other USI GPS Enabling areas practices.

        Collaborates with key stakeholders, gathering business requirements.

        Identifies key drivers of a defined problem and proposes solutions

        Recognizes and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgment

Qualifications:

Required:

        Master’s degree – MBA - Finance

        Graduating batches of 2022

        No backlogs

        Advanced written, verbal analytical and communications skills required

        Strong interpersonal and relationship skills

        Ability to coordinate and work effectively with teammates, end-users and leadership

        Ability to work in a virtual team environment

        Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job

Preferred:

        An experience of 1-2 years would do (not mandatory)

        Good knowledge on the Microsoft Office Suite

        Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

        Possesses strong analytical skills and ability to review with strong attention to detail and independently analyze complex data

        Ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems and developing creative solutions

Location - Hyderabad

Work timings: 2 p.m. – 11 p.m.
