Associate Analyst, Global Finance Services –Global Delivery Center
About GFS:
Global Finance Services (GFS) provides world-class Finance services to Deloitte’s member firms using the latest generation SAP technology supported by a team of highly skilled and engaged professionals. Through a common Finance infrastructure and global system platform, GFS will support Deloitte global member firms and geographies with world-class, innovative, end-to-end Finance shared services. GFS leverages innovative processes and leading-edge technology to deliver world class quality and efficiency to our Deloitte clients.
Work you will do:
As an Associate Analyst, you will process various accounting transactions/ activities such as accounts payables, cash application, journal entries, inter-firm accounting, reconciliations etc. You may also deliver routine and ad-hoc management reporting.
Training:
Upon joining, you will be enrolled in the GFS Accelerate program. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of many financial domains through this 3-month course. In GFS, we believe people are our most valuable assets. We are constantly investing in training to help our colleagues reach their career potential. The Accelerate program will help you develop a broad understanding of GFS and Deloitte. The program will equip you with the skills and training you will need to build a successful career at Deloitte. Once you have completed the training program, you will be assigned to one of the GFS process teams and will embark on your career.
GFS aims to provide innovative, world-class services to our clients through :
• Driving standardization of select, skilled-based processes that are common across business functions, geographies, and firms
• Leveraging a single technology platform
• Delivering services that support our clients’ Finance teams so that they may, in turn, focus primarily on internal clients and value-add activities
• Implementing leading practices and driving continuous process improvement
• Managing operations through a metric driven approach including monitoring operations against standard service level expectations
Our Services:
• Client to Cash (CTC) – billing, collecting, cash application, bank statement recons
• Procure to Pay (PTP) – process invoices, payments
• Controllership Services (CoS) – journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis
• Expense Compliance – expense auditing, corporate card administration, fraud monitoring
• Financial Integrity – system, security, and internal controls monitoring, confidential data management
• Master Data Management – client, vendor, PC/CC, COA, etc., master data management
• Reporting & Analysis – development of reports, delivery of scheduled reports
Qualifications and experience required:
• B.Com/BBA
• Graduating batch of 2021
• No backlogs

Preferred:
• Good knowledge on the Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures is required
• Proficiency in data entry and management
• Strong and proactive oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to process deadlines
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team

Work timings:
GFS provides shared services globally. We have aligned our operations to three regions (Americas, EMEA, and APAC) and leverage three shift times designed to provide consistent operations across these regions. During the Accelerate program, you will work the 2 p.m. – 11 p.m. shift. This shift is designed to cover parts of Europe and the Americas. After the program, you will be placed in an operations team and will be aligned to one of our three regions. Based on the region you primarily service, your ultimate shift time could be 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Asia-Pacific region), 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (EMEA region), or 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (Americas region). We will work with you to align you to a shift that works for your unique circumstances.
