Business Systems Analyst, Global Deloitte Application Studio (G DAS)
Work you will do
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, and managing the business requirements of stakeholders and end users. BSA will serve as the conduit between the customer community and the software development team and will remain involved throughout the entire software development life cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements during the design, development and testing phases. The Business Analyst will also assist in the deployment and training activities associated with the product. In summary, the Business Analyst will participate in a high energy team working in all phases of the software development lifecycle to ensure successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities and advising business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions
• Compile all elicitation results and analyze requirements to help determine the best solution
• Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible
• Facilitate the solution design with the development team
• Contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews
• Help analyze impact of proposed solution on existing technology platforms
• Identify and communicate risks to delivering solutions on time
• Validate that the solution design meets business and functional requirements
• Develop specifications, functional impacts and prototypes to further illustrate the business need.
• Provide input to the development of formal business cases, when applicable
• Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team; work with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations
• Support defect triage process
• Support end users and support desk personnel on advanced product and usage issues
Work Complexity
• High degree of interaction with technical personnel (developers, infrastructure support personnel, etc.) and non-technical personnel (Business Users, SME & QA teams)
• Fast paced technically complex environment that requires the ability to manage competing priorities
Analysis & Problem Solving
• High degree of reasoning required to collaboratively triage production incidents, analyze the root causes of the issue, and help drive them to conclusion.
• Ability to use original thinking in investigating, analyzing, and resolving production incidents.
• Builds experience with related products and associated systems to identify and resolve problems.

Offerings include Custom Development, Application Architecture and Testing Advisory Services. Technologies include Business Analytics, Business intelligence, Cloud Development, Mobile, .Net, Share point, Manual, Automated, and Performance testing.
SAP Package Technologies: Design, develop, test, and implement complex event processing solutions that unlock the value of enterprise information. These solutions include middleware-enabled business process, applications, and system component integration within and across enterprises.
Qualifications and experience Required:
• Educational Qualification: B.Tech + MBA (Non HR) (60% or 6.5 GPA in current course and above throughout without any running backlogs)
• Understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts
• Exposure to UML and Use Case authoring
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of data principles and concepts to support data quality, validation and ownership
• Demonstrates ability to work with vendors and internal organization to define specific product roadmap(s)
• Demonstrates understanding of the principles used in eliciting and analyzing client needs; Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and leverages that knowledge to conduct associated activities
• Contributes to and is consulted during design activities and applies some application design techniques; Leverages design activities for cross–functional purposes
• Demonstrates basic understanding of the principles used in determining ease of use and workflow of a product; Contributes to the evaluation of product usability
• Basic knowledge of SDLC methodologies; Knowledge of Agile methodologies a plus
• Experience in documenting processes and procedures
Other Qualifications
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point)
• Understanding of direction of technology and software development
• Excellent English written, verbal, listening, analytical, and communications skills
• Capable of decomposing complex data and scenarios underlying reported issues
• Good negotiation and facilitation skills
• Fast learner; Able to multi-task in dynamic environment
• High level of comfort in interpersonal communications ? Comfort in working in a collaborative environment
• Self-motivated and ability to contribute independently
