Audit & Assurance Analyst, Audit & Assurance Growth - Client Excellence & Markets

Our ability to measure performance, glean insights, and optimize business development tools and strategies helps Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance (A&A) business identify and build relationships with prospective clients.
Work you’ll do
As a specialist, you will be an integral part of the team by providing competitive intelligence, relationship-development and business development support to the US based A&A Growth team. You will report to the USI assistant manager. You will support by conducting extensive secondary research on target companies, market/industry research, various communications and relationship development projects among other responsibilities.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives working on a wide range of tasks, demonstrates diligence and initiative, is eager to learn, can adapt to ambiguous or challenging situations, makes immediate adjustments based on feedback, and devises solutions. Candidate would leverage strong research, presentation skills and should be adept at working collaboratively as well as independently.
You’ll be expected to:
· Develop and create insightful industry, market and company research and share in a presentable format to aid in relationship development processes.
· Uncover company data and insights to be used in key target, cross board analysis, and executive reports utilized by audit practitioners.
· Prepare reports, analyze data, identify trends, and conduct required follow-up.
· Develop and maintain targeting database, create frameworks and templates for research representation.
· Develop internal and external communications, marketing collaterals and pursuit materials to propagate Deloitte’s services.
· Provide innovative approaches, share and leverage best practices.
· Collaborate across the organization to uncover company data and possible organization connections.
· Adhere to the processes, protocols, reference material, and tools to support deliverables.
· Develop an understanding of our business, industry, marketplace priorities, and the competitive landscape leveraging both internal tools and external sources to develop a point of view and share insights.
· Perform secondary market research by searching databases and provide information in a systematic and logical manner.
· Team with counterparts throughout the organization to leverage programs and deliverables and share best practices.
· Develop high quality deliverables with attention to detail and executive summaries for US stakeholders with minimum supervision from USI team leaders

Qualifications
Required:
· Master’s degree in business management (MBA, PGDBM), preferably in Finance or Marketing.
· 1-2 years of prior relevant experience (e.g., Secondary Research, Marketing operations).
· Exposure to secondary research databases such as Factiva, OneSource, Hoovers, Thomson, BoardEx, S&P Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, IBIS World etc.
· Ability to assimilate research findings and industry trends to showcase logical thought flow and storyboarding skills.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite—PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
· Knowledge of business development practices in a professional services firm.
· Understanding of company structure and preferably knowledge of the audit practice.
· Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and tasks at a quick pace.
· Excellent communication skills that include reading comprehension and the ability to articulate messages in written and spoken form.
· Ability to see the big picture and quickly adapt to changing business priorities in a matrixed organization.
· Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems, and work under tight deadlines.
· Team-oriented individual with ability to work on multiple initiatives and prioritize projects.
