Our Data Analytics & Management practice helps clients in identifying, developing and implementing solutions for analytics enablement, and achieving their business, compliance and regulatory needs through intelligent use of data analytics, using our experience and expertise in varied areas of data management and analytics.
USI Data Analytics & Management team spans across our businesses Offering Portfolios (Risk Data Management, Cyber Analytics, Digital Internal Audit, Forensic Analytics, Controllership). The team has been instrumental in Deloitte’s analytics growth journey and has played integral part in delivering client engagements and developing the Deloitte proprietary analytic solutions
Work you’ll do
Essential job requirements include:
• Analyze client requirements, perform due diligence, and design data solutions to suit client needs.
• Execute on data management and data analytics engagements to help clients monitor, mitigate, and sustain risks.
• Interact with clients and engagement teams to coordinate project work and ensure client satisfaction.
• Continue to expand depth and breadth of technical knowledge related to data management and business analytics.
• Build business and industry knowledge in one or more industries.
• Build personal and team capability in technical / business / industry area.
• Work on practice development activities, such as proposals, eminence, innovation.
Key skills required include:
Experience:
· 2 – 5 years of experience in architecting, designing & deploying end to end data environment including Data Ingestion, Data Processing / Transformation, Data Warehousing / Storage and Consumption.
· Experience in Data Modeling, ETL, Data pipeline design and implementation across different stacks, such as, Traditional (Relational DBs), NoSQL, Big Data and Cloud Environments.
· Experience of working with large structured, semi-structured and unstructured datasets.
· Experience in designing and developing Data visualization and reporting solutions using, but not limited to, Data warehousing or Data Analytics layers.
· Knowledge of different data storage formats (e.g. avro, parquet, native database formats).
· Understanding of Cloud base data storage and database services (for example Redshift, S3, Dynamo DB, Aurora).
Technical Skillset:
Proficient in at least one technology, in each of the following areas:
· Expertise in SQL is a must.
· Hands on experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera.
· Big Data querying tools such as Pig, Hive and Impala.
· Programming using PySpark, Scala, Python or SAS.
· Hands on expertise in using at least one of the advanced visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, AWS Glue, Qlik, Talend.
· Knowledge of Snowflake / Databricks is preferrable.
· Data engineering experience in Cloud technologies is a plus.
· Knowledge of version controlling/ change management tools, such as Git.
Functional Skillset:
Knowledge of financial products, banking business, financial risk management is a plus.

Our professionals are skilled in varied analytical tools, technologies and methodologies such as Data Management (on premise / cloud), Data Quality, Data Governance, Dashboarding & Visualization, Automation, Machine Learning Natural Language Processing. Combining this with our knowledge of industry and demonstrated methodologies to design, assess, and transform the processes, controls, and infrastructure, we help clients in designing, implementing and managing analytical programs successfully.
Qualifications Required
· Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred
· MBA/Equivalent in Data Analytics
· Specialty Certification in Big Data / Cloud Analytics
