Cyber & Strategic Risk – Crisis & Resilience – Consultant / Sr. Consultant

Our Crisis Management practice is part of the Cyber and Strategic Risk division within the Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory. The Crisis & Resilience team helps our clients identify and mitigate key threats that their businesses face in today’s dynamic environment. We assess their business and operational environment and develop an understanding of the key threats they face and work with the organizations to prepare them for the disasters which could lead to disruptions of the operations. The team works closely with the clients to understand their organization, assess their needs for a resilience program and help them build a robust program which helps minimize the impact of a disaster and recover from the disruption in a timely manner. The team also helps support the recovery activities so that clients can leverage the available resources most effectively and efficiently.

 

Work you’ll do

Essential job requirements include:

·        Advising clients in transforming business continuity and disaster recovery solutions

·        Driving operational, technical and cyber resilience technology solutions to meet the current threats and enable timely business recovery

·        Engaging in Resilience assessments; resilient process and technology design, operational and service enhancement processes

·        Advising clients on technical architecture, data resilience, testing and failover automation activities

·        Actively promoting and participating in business development and sales activities

·        Managing and providing oversight to the engagement lifecycle

·        Contributing to the eminence of the Deloitte’s Resilience team

·        Supporting and promoting team development and talent related activities

Qualifications

Required

·        MBA/Equivalent with specialization in Strategy, IT and/or operations

OR

·        Engineering Graduate with relevant experience

Additional Qualifications

·        Knowledge in implementing, managing and auditing an ISO-22301 BCMS

·        Broad knowledge of Business continuity principles and practices

·        CBCP, ISO22301 / ISO27001 Lead Implementer or Lead auditor certification considered a plus

·        Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery concepts

·        Appreciation and knowledge of cyber resilience concepts including network resilience, communication backup etc.

·        Knowledge of basic data center architectures/designs/component

·        Understanding of various aspects of technology resilience – design and process aspects

·        Basic understanding of data backup, recovery etc.

·        Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly and effectively

·        Experience contributing to an ISO-27001 ISMS is also well regarded

·        Strong written and oral communication skills are a must have

·        Logical and efficient approach to problem solving

·        Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

·        Highly self-motivated and directed
